Heya folks,

Sorry about the mess here, but I have been working very hard to bring you a MAJOR change in how this site works... well, more accurately, what you're reading now is actually a copy of the OLD version of PointlessGames.com.  I decided to keep a live copy of the site as of Dec. 22, 2007, mainly for reference as I convert stuff over, but also to allow people to keep playing as I get the content moved over as fast as I can.

 I know this kind of sucks, but hey... it's the best way I could think of to do all this a bit quicker.  

So, if you're reading this, you're at the archive of PointlessGames.com and you shouldn't really invest any time in wracking up scores or anything... they'll all be deleted soon-ish.  If you want to see the new site, go back to www.PointlessGames.com and see how it's all shakin'.

 If you came here from somewhere else, sorry for the confusion.. this was just a domain I had lying around so I used it for this quick backup/archive thingie.

Head over to the new Pointless Games and hang out with the new community!

Hey folks,

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say "thanks" for spending some of your time at Pointless Games!  We really appreciate you hanging out!  We're working hard on some great stuff for the future, which will mean some massive changes to how this site works.  It's cool... but quite a way off, for now.  I'm busy with other work so I can't spend all my time on it, but we're very stoked about what's coming up... hopefully sooner than later.

In the meantime, since huge changes take time, I'm putting together some smaller changes that will come into play a lot sooner.  I really appreciate you guys/gals hanging out with us, and I don't want to keep leaving you hanging.  There will be more updates coming real soon, so hopefully we'll give you good reason to keep coming back.

 Thanks again for dropping by and for telling your friends about us!  We totally dig you folks and we look forward to what's coming up.  :)

Since I bothered you fine folks earlier about WOXY going offline, I am happily bugging you again to say they're coming back!!  Wheee!

WOXY.com is resuming their fantastic radio stream tomorrow morning... 10:10am(EDT) on 10/10/2006.

Very sorry about the site mess for some of you... maybe still some problems, but I think I've worked most of it out.

I upgraded some parts of the system and of course, it broke other stuff.  Sucko.

 Hopefully, it's all good now and you should be able to log in and play without further trouble.  If you have trouble, PLEASE let me know so I can fix things up.

There was apparently some trouble with people registering new accounts, but I think it's squared away now.  If you tried creating accounts and you couldn't finish the process, first, check your spam/junk folders to see if the email got filtered.  If you still don't get it working, let me know and I'll fix ya up.

 Thanks for your patience through crap like this.  I'm not supposed to be doing this stuff, but I blew the last 3 hours on this junk!!  I need to get back to work!!!  Bah.

Sorry about the outtage, folks.  Bah.. don't even know how long the site was down, since I was at a meeting all day today.  Suck!

Should be fine now, so get back in there and play, would ya!!  

Perhaps I should point out what kind of stuff happens when Pointless Games goes down for a bit... it can be stressful for some folks .

Oh yeah... two batches of new games in less than a month!?!?  I'm on fire, I know.  It's the best I could do in a small window of time I found this morning, so I hope there's something here for you to enjoy.  This time, the games are spread around in several categories to try hitting on something fun for more play styles.  You'll see the new games at the top of the home page, but you will always find everything listed in the Flash Game Arcade. 

Keep coming back and I'll keep adding games for ya!  If you know anyone who runs a website or blog... or anyone with a MySpace page or anything else... please help me out by asking them to post a link to www.PointlessGames.com so we can spread the word and get people streaming in here to play with us!

Also, if you haven't checked out the Pointless Chatter Forums, you might enjoy it.  There has been some great (and fun) discussions going on as well as a really goofy story started by Alfie_R.  Join in on the storytelling with us!  All you need is a free Pointless Games account to get started posting.  Don't forget you're being watched, so no spamming and PLEASE BE NICE!  If not, you'll get axed.  Plain as that.
