[edit: Hmmm... I guess I wasn't clear about the whole "don't spam" thing? I'm inclined to just ignore this, as you say, but I think I'd rather test something else... the "ban" feature of this board system.

I've not yet banned anyone with this new system, so I guess I need to test that. Just ignore me while I go test that. --Luap]

Hey.. by the way: There's this really slick feature of these boards where you can help me patrol the boards for stuff you (and I) don't like to see - namely spammers or Super Jerks or whatever.

In the section to the left where the username and avatar, etc for the poster is, there's a little person-head icon below the Posts total. Click that to get to someone's profile page and you'll see a "Moderate" tab for the user. If you click that puppy, you'll se an option to "Report User". Fill out the form saying why you think the user's worthy of mention and I'll take care of things from there.

I'd really, really appreciate the help keeping this place clean. Maybe I'll get around to assigning some moderators someday, but for now, please give me any help you can when you see crap that none of us want around here.
