Single Sign-on Working Again

[update 11/21/2009: Wow.. another round of pain and suffering as my old system for doing "single sign-on" has been declared insecure. Yay! I've had to move to yet another system which appears to rock. This hopefully ends this journey. I'll post elsewhere about this problem in case anyone cares. However, please let me know if you still see problems with creating an account on the Bragfile.com network and with moving between sites while staying automatically logged-in. Sorry for any hassle this has caused. --Hoza]

After a long, arduous path, it appears that I've (finally!) gotten the shared sign-on system back online. Sheesh.. what a pain in the rumpus.

This means you should be able to log in with your account at one of our sites and then be able to hop around to any of the others without having to log in again. HUGE feature that was working long ago, but crashed on me and forced me to disable it.

The fact that this feature works is integral to how all these Bragfile Network sites coexist. As you may notice, there are a lot of games listed in various sites, but they're not actually "living" at the site you see them listed at. That may not make sense (I'm tired after an all-nighter, sorry) but trust me, there's a reason I'm doing it this way.

FlashGamePost.com is currently the main hub for all the free online games we have on the network. However, there are also games getting sorted out to the other sites your free Bragfile Network account gives you access to.

Until I get the pages set up better, you'll notice (and hopefully not be too aggravated) that you may find yourself whisked away to another site. For instance, we have a ton of online solitaire card games. If you see those listed at Flash Game Post (or www.PointlessGames.com, www.OnlineGameHounds.com, etc.), you'll be moved over to the home of our solitaire games: OnlineSolitaireGames.com.

The bigger issue is with all the games that save high scores. Being logged in will get you access to score saving (for games that support it), and the "shared sign-on" system should ensure that you're always logged in when you need to be.

Please be sure to let me know if you have any trouble with any of this stuff! We're working hard to get everything smoothed out, but there's a lot of stuff going on and we're light on the manpower... IE: I'm the only one doing all this. o.O Be patient, please.

Have fun and please keep coming back and spreading the word! More good stuff coming soon.
