Yeah, yeah.. I know it's been just shy of FOREVER since I added anything new, but here's finally something to sink our mouse button into.  I've been watching folks posting in the discussion forums about all manner of oddities, just trying to occupy themselves, and I'm feeling sorry for you.  I know you've been coming here for a long time looking for new games and I've basically dropped the ball.  Well, hopefully this will at least give you something to play with until I get together another update.

Cigarette Killer is a foreign tale of intrigue, danger and... aw, who am I kidding?  I can't read whatever language (Japanese?) that is in there!  All I know is you're armed with a water pistol and you're out to snuff the burning smokes you see dirtying up the air.  It's hard to say why you're doing this, but all you need to know is that the job needs done... and you're just the man-thing to do it!

"No Smoking! Babe!" Awww, yeah!  The big message looks like "GoGoGo Quit Smoking!", which is just fine, I guess.

 (Oh yeah.. just click "play" and try to find the smoking cig's, shooting your water pistol to snuff them out.  You might find other fun things to squirt, but keep an eye on your water supply!  There might be other very important  instructions in there, so hopefully someone reads Japanese and will fill me in!  :)

Since I bothered you fine folks earlier about WOXY going offline, I am happily bugging you again to say they're coming back!!  Wheee!

Wheeee!  I've brought a new "game" to life!  It's been a long time, I know.. there has been a lot of work to do getting things up to where they are now.  It may not look like a lot, but give me a break, eh?  I'm working things out, I swear.

Just to prove that Pointless Games is moving forward, I'm rolling out the latest in the truly "pointless" games... one worthy of the title "Pointless"...

Pointless Crystal Ball

Yep, there's been a lot of call over the recent years to "bring back the pointless games!"  I feel your pain.  Here's a quick attempt at humor and true pointlessness... I hope you like it. 

(It's really mainly a first test of my new Flash game wrapper I wanted to make.  This way, I can get a little site advertising/branding in there, so when folks "swipe" the game (which I don't allow, by the way) to play on their own sites, at least there's a way to know where the game comes from!  Actually.. let me know what you think of my first run at doing a splash screen!  I'll spiff it up better later, but it's working for now.) 

This little test is going to serve a couple purposes (purpii??)... mainly, it's goal is to help encourage an upgrade to Flash Player 8 or better.  I'm working on games that will all be using the newer features of Flash, so I figure you'd just as well get upgraded if you need it.  If you see a notice about upgrading your Flash, either follow the instructions, or go Get Flash to get updated.  You may just not see anything below, in which case, you need upgraded, so get to it!

 Second, I want you to start to play... Pointless Games style!  We're talking the kind of play a dog experiences when he chases his tail.  Nobody knows why they do that, but they sure seem to have fun!  Yeah, that's right, I'm talking about toys.  I've hinted at the idea of Pointless Toys being different from "games" -- maybe you'll start seeing what I mean by that starting about now.

Third, it will work as a sort of quickie marketing thing for the people who steal my games or who link to the files directly.  There's a little link "hiding" amongst the egg critters, which will just send you here when clicked.  Since you're already here, you can ignore it. 

So, without further babble, here you go... Scared Eggs (I don't know what else to call it for now.   They look kinda like little egg creatures... and they act scared.  That about sums it up.  I'll maybe make a game out of this someday, but for now, it's just an experiment.
